I am a firm believer in the importance of community service and try to do what I can where possible. I served as a governor of Melcombe Primary School in Hammersmith from 2013-16, sitting on the finance and personnel committees.
In 2015, I was invited by Princess Sarvath El-Hassan of Jordan to join the economic committee of the Anglo-Jordanian Society, working to forge business relationships between both countries.
I enjoy spending as much time in the countryside as possible, have a black labrador called Bella and enjoy poker, cooking and cigars. I’m a big sports fan, and an avid follower of Chelsea FC (I grew up little over a mile from the stadium), and Bath Rugby. My big passion, however, is travel, and I am fortunate to have had the chance to travel extensively, both for work and leisure. One of my great ambitions is to visit every country in the world. I’m making steady progress, but there’s still a long way to go!
